Description:

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Identity to work remotely within the Eastern Time Zone in the United States.
This role is designed for an experienced backend engineer who will help scale critical systems for global onboarding, identity verification, and account management.
The engineer will join a fast-paced team to build a high-volume, secure trading platform that manages millions of users and billions in assets.
Responsibilities include designing and building backend services for identity verification, collaborating on system architecture, leading engineering efforts in risk management and security, participating in code reviews, debugging production issues, and contributing to architectural decisions.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in building scalable, production-grade systems and microservices.
Proficiency in backend programming languages, particularly Go, is required, with an emphasis on writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Experience with domain-driven and event-driven design principles is necessary.
Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud platforms (preferably GCP) is essential.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL and distributed systems is required.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented approach are important.
Experience with messaging queues, broker systems, and integrating external services is needed.
Bonus points for experience in fintech, KYC/identity verification, or startup environments.
