Description:
Articulate is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to join their AI team, which has successfully launched an AI Assistant for online learning.
The role involves building new features and enhancing existing ones with a focus on quality and customer value.
Collaboration with software engineers, machine learning engineers, and designers is essential to develop innovative AI technology solutions.
Responsibilities include mentoring other engineers, participating in application architecture and testing framework definitions, and managing on-call rotations.

Requirements:
Candidates should have a passion for creating software experiences enabled by AI and LLMs.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining production software is required.
Experience in collaborative, team-based work and technical leadership is necessary.
Strong communication skills to explain technical topics to both engineers and non-engineers are essential.
Candidates should be able to work independently with little oversight.
Proficiency in writing clear, testable, and maintainable JavaScript is required.
Expertise in frontend technologies such as React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and S(CSS) is necessary.
Knowledge of backend technologies including Node.js, Postgres, and Docker is required.
Proficiency in developing and maintaining services on AWS and operational skills using an APM like Datadog are essential.
Benefits:
The salary range for this position is between $159,200 and $238,800, depending on location and experience.
