Description:

The Notification team is responsible for delivering timely, relevant, and personalized information to customers, enhancing collaboration through integrations with Slack and Microsoft Teams.
The role involves joining a full-stack team that manages the frontend UI, services, and infrastructure, aiming to leverage integrations for improved collaboration.
The position reports to the Manager of Engineering in Bellevue, WA, but allows for remote work from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is registered.
Responsibilities include building scalable back-end services using Kotlin and Java, solving distributed systems problems, leading code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with product management.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of software development experience in building highly scalable and available applications.
A minimum of 7+ years of programming experience with full stack technologies such as Java, Kotlin, or TypeScript is required.
At least 2+ years of experience with cloud technologies like AWS or Azure is necessary.
Experience in developing, documenting, and supporting REST APIs is essential.
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis.
