Remote Senior Software Engineer II, Backend - Requests (Remote Eligible)

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer II, Backend - Requests will join a team of 5 engineers to create new services for managing update and approval requests.
• This role involves reimagining how requests are centralized and managed at an enterprise scale within a distributed architecture.

• Responsibilities include building scalable back-end services using Kotlin and Java, solving distributed systems problems, and working with modern cloud infrastructure like AWS and Kubernetes.
• The engineer will lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with product management.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 7+ years of software development experience in building highly scalable and available applications.
• A minimum of 7 years of programming experience with full stack technologies such as Java, Kotlin, or TypeScript is required.
• At least 2 years of experience with cloud technologies like AWS or Azure is necessary.
• Experience in developing, documenting, and supporting REST APIs is essential.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
• Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis.
