Description:

  • As a Senior Software Engineer II at Aledade, you will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and expanding the web application and data pipelines.
  • You will focus on creating secure, maintainable, performant, correct, scalable, and stable solutions to the complex challenges in the healthcare industry.
  • Embrace strategies that minimize risk by emphasizing observability, alerting, metrics, high test coverage, and frequent releases.
  • Develop and implement scalable and performant solutions.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to develop and execute technical roadmaps using Agile processes.
  • Mentor and coach more junior engineers, including providing thorough pull request reviews and being receptive to critical feedback.

Requirements:

  • BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or 8 years of experience without a degree.
  • 6+ years of experience building full-stack web applications as part of a cross-functional team.
  • 4+ years of experience working with SQL or other database querying language on large multi-table data sets.
  • 4+ years of experience acting as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting.
  • 4+ years of experience coaching other engineers.
  • Proficiency with CSS/HTML/Javascript and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, VueJs/Ember).
  • Expertise in at least 1 server-side web technology (e.g., Nodejs, Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, Go, JVM).
  • Experience with any web framework (Django, FastAPI, Flask, etc.).
  • Experience in RDBMS & NoSQL databases such as Postgres, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.
  • Experience with API design and development.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience with security and systems handling sensitive data.
