Description:

• Cruise is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II for their Simulation team to work on constructing virtual environments for autonomous vehicles.
• The role involves developing and integrating automated simulation test pipelines to solve testing and evaluation problems.
• Responsibilities include creating tools for simulation management, authoring workflows, and generating millions of simulations.
• The position requires collaboration with various teams across AV Engineering, Systems Engineering, Product Management, and Product Operations.
• The focus is on accelerating training of ML models, enhancing user experience, and improving development speed.

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or equivalent experience is required.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience is necessary.
• Strong programming skills in Python are a must.
• Experience in technical leadership and collaboration across multiple teams is essential.
• Passion for building tools, frameworks, and libraries to simplify workflows is required.
• Proven track record of effective collaboration with customers and delivering quality results is necessary.

Benefits:
