Remote Senior Software Engineer II - Visual Editor

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer II will join the Experience group and work on creating tools for analytics engineers in the Visual Editor Team.
• Responsibilities include building and maintaining dbt Cloud clients, including a new LCNC platform, IDE, and CLI app layer, backend services, and scalability enhancements.
• The role involves managing trade-offs, priorities, and deliverables, defining important usage metrics, enabling teammates, setting quality standards, and supporting team members' career development.
• The position requires technical leadership, collaboration with product and design, and understanding end-users' needs to create organizational knowledge.

Requirements:

• 5-8+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (computer science, computer engineering, etc.) OR completed enrollment in an engineering-related bootcamp.
• Proficiency in using Python or Go to develop scalable full-stack applications.
• Experience working with product and design, making trade-offs for feature delivery, and collaborating with multiple teams to drive projects to completion.
