Remote Senior Software Engineer in Test

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer in Test will be responsible for contributing to the testing of new and existing features on AXIOM Examine.
• They will lead efforts to plan, create, and execute automated tests, as well as improve test maintainability, reusability, and code quality.
• Designing and implementing testing tools required for effective and efficient testing will be part of their responsibilities.
• The role involves maintaining existing frameworks and scripts, debugging complex software systems, and reporting quality metrics while investigating regression failures.
• Providing technical leadership, contributing to test strategies, and staying up to date with testing trends are key aspects of the position.
• The candidate should be comfortable working autonomously, prioritizing tasks efficiently, and owning skill development within their area of expertise.
• Adaptability to changes arising from business and customer needs is essential.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of applied experience with Test Automation.
• Proficiency in C# and coding experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Experience working in an agile framework and an aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Desire to work in an environment with autonomy to direct the test strategy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Additional assets:

• Familiarity with AWS services including EC2 & S3 handling, AMI setup, SQLite, Git, Jenkins, performance testing, and Test Studio.
