Description:

Vanta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Infrastructure and Security team, which focuses on providing a platform that enhances the scalability, performance, and reliability of Vanta’s core systems.
The role involves working on distributed systems, infrastructure primitives, and security enhancements to support the rapid growth of Vanta's customer base without compromising speed or developer productivity.
The engineer will design and build scalable infrastructure to accommodate increasing data volume, service usage, and engineering velocity.
Responsibilities include leading projects across cloud infrastructure, implementing core security infrastructure and controls, and solving complex scalability and performance challenges.
The engineer will collaborate closely with Security Engineering to ensure best-in-class security and compliance practices are implemented.
The position requires driving infrastructure design reviews and providing technical guidance on architectural decisions.

Requirements:

Candidates should have experience in technical leadership roles on Infrastructure or platform teams.
A strong background in infrastructure, AWS services, and scaling platforms in fast-growing environments is required.

The ideal candidate should be thoughtful about trade-offs and possess good product sense when creating new infrastructure.
