Description:
Join the Platform Engineering team at Qualified as a Senior Software Engineer and play a pivotal role in developing the infrastructure that enables impactful products and services.
The team is responsible for accelerating the delivery of value to customers across key areas: Cloud Infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Monitoring and Observability, and engineering tools.
The goal is to increase deployment velocity and confidence, raise the quality bar, and enhance Qualified’s technical culture.
This senior-level technical role involves working on high-value technologies at the intersection of distributed systems, big data, orchestration systems, and public cloud platforms.
Responsibilities include providing technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers, defining/refining architecture, updating processes, and establishing best practices.
Collaborate with others to design, build, test, and own the infrastructure and processes that support product engineering teams.
Focus on reliability, scalability, observability, and maintainability to earn customer trust.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development in programming languages such as Go, Python, Ruby, or Java is necessary.
At least 3 years of experience in cloud platforms, infrastructure, and DevOps is required.
Advanced proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
Deep experience in architecting solutions on cloud-based infrastructure is needed.
Experience in architecting secure networks in public clouds is required.
Proven experience in delivering and refining CI/CD pipelines is necessary.
Familiarity with Linux is required.
Experience in automated provisioning using infrastructure-as-code tools like CDK, Cloudformation, Terraform, or Pulumi is necessary.
Experience in automated deployments using container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, AWS EC2 Container Service, or Docker is required.
Strong experience with monitoring and logging tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK is essential.
Database management experience, especially with PostgreSQL or ClickHouse, is a plus.
