Description:

AeroVect is a Series A company transforming ground handling with autonomy, focusing on redefining operations for airlines and ground service providers globally.
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining software for AeroVect's autonomous driving stack.
This role includes managing infrastructure to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software.
The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software tailored to the aviation and ground handling industries.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining software components, troubleshooting issues, and documenting findings.
The engineer will also develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage AWS cloud infrastructure, and optimize software performance.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in robotics software development or a similar role.
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in robotics, such as Python, C++, and ROS, is necessary.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github Actions, or CircleCI is required.
Familiarity with AWS and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, including Terraform and CloudFormation, is essential.
Strong scripting skills in Bash for automation are required.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes, is necessary.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows is required.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack, is a plus.
