The role involves serving as a team lead for a software engineering team, providing technical leadership throughout the design and delivery process.
Responsibilities include building impactful healthcare technology, maintaining data services and integrations, and supporting product offerings and clinical intelligence.
The position requires working on agile teams to enhance a growing software platform and supporting interoperability initiatives.
The candidate will own end-to-end feature releases, participate in technical design processes, and contribute to a culture of testing and quality.
The role also involves mentoring junior engineers and ensuring adherence to healthcare security practices in software development.
Requirements:
A Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field with three (3) years of experience in the software development cycle, or a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with five (5) years of experience.
Three (3) years of experience in designing and architecting software systems using tools like Lucidchart, draw.io, or Figma.
Experience in building data services and APIs using Java (Spring).
Proven experience in leading data modeling, storage design, and maintaining services using database technologies, including NoSQL, SQL, and Object Storage, as well as observability platforms like AWS Cloudwatch.
Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
This position is remote and can be performed from any location within the United States.
Benefits:
The salary for this position is $172,744 annually.
