Description:
The position is for a Senior Software Engineer in the Intelligence Services team at Centripetal, focusing on intelligence-driven cybersecurity solutions.
The role involves being part of a high-performing product development team and acting as a back-end engineer to develop Kubernetes services for streaming data pipelines and application microservices.
Responsibilities include developing distributed software systems that enable analytics across various cyber threat intelligence and data sources, and building cloud-delivered cybersecurity products that leverage intelligence and data innovatively.
The engineer will take ownership of tasks from design to production, ensuring a cutting-edge user experience with actionable insights for customers.

Requirements:
Candidates must have a proven track record as a trusted member of a high-performing team.
Experience with Object Oriented and Functional programming languages is required, along with knowledge of the strengths of different programming paradigms.
Applicants should have experience in building clean consumable REST interfaces and developing applications on major cloud service platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure.
Familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and Agile and DevOps methods is necessary.
Experience with event-driven or message-based systems, preferably Kafka, and understanding of developing MicroServices from event-driven architectures is required.
Candidates should be comfortable working with various databases, including relational, NoSQL, and search engines.
A BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a closely related field is required, along with 3-5 years of functional programming experience, preferably in Clojure.
Strong skills in data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving are essential, as well as familiarity with build and CI tools, Linux-based operating systems, container-based applications, and testing tools.
