  • The position is remote, open to candidates located anywhere in Canada, with a requirement to work in EST.
  • Responsibilities include designing, improving, and debugging complex distributed systems, optimizing performance, writing scalable code, participating in technical planning, and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have at least 5+ years of full-time work experience building highly performant web applications with outstanding user experience.
  • Recent work experience with Ruby on Rails is required.
  • Knowledge of full-stack technologies such as React, Typescript, GraphQL, and Go is highly preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with Product & Design teams to create high-impact end-to-end product experiences is necessary.
  • Candidates should have experience working with relational databases and key-value stores.
  • Experience in analyzing, benchmarking, and optimizing web application page load performance across the entire stack is required.
