Description:

OpenX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer IV (Python) to join their team in Krakow, Poland, focusing on digital advertising technologies.
The role involves working on a cloud-based platform that handles over 400 billion ad requests daily and requires designing high-performance, distributed systems.
Responsibilities include architecting and delivering new features, collaborating with product and engineering teams across multiple locations, and improving server efficiency and stability.
The team utilizes technologies such as Python, Java, Go, and various cloud services, and follows an agile development process using Scrum.
Candidates should be open-minded, proactive, self-organized, and self-motivated.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position working with Python is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is necessary.
Candidates must have experience with database system design, including RDBMs like MySQL or Postgres, or NoSQL databases.
Excellent written and spoken English skills are essential.
Desired qualifications include experience with Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Docker, REST APIs, GraphQL, and familiarity with advertising technologies.

The position offers an employment contract with a salary range of 21,250 - 23,750 PLN gross monthly or a B2B option at 167 - 186 PLN net hourly.
