Description:
OpenX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer IV (TS/JS) to join their team in Krakow, Poland, with a focus on designing and operating high-scale ad marketplaces.
The role involves designing high-performance, distributed, low-latency systems and delivering new features and functionality.
The engineer will work closely with Product teams to drive requirements and own projects end-to-end.
Responsibilities include analyzing and improving the efficiency, scalability, and stability of servers and processes, while identifying and removing unnecessary complexity.
The company operates a 100% Cloud-based (GCP) platform, handling over 370 billion ad requests daily and over 1200 production deployments a month.

Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience building SaaS applications using JavaScript/Typescript, including Node.js, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree.
Experience with database system design, including RDBMs (MySQL, Postgres) or NoSQL is required.
Excellent written and spoken English skills are necessary for this position.
Experience with Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
Familiarity with Python is also a nice-to-have.
Experience in digital media, marketing technology, or advertising technology is considered a significant advantage.

The position offers an employment contract with a salary range of 21,250 - 25,000 PLN gross/monthly or a B2B option at 167 - 196 PLN net/hourly.
