The Senior Software Engineer position at 3PILLAR GLOBAL involves building breakthrough software products that drive digital business growth.
The role requires facilitating effective communication with client project stakeholders regarding project status and recommendations.
The engineer will craft client code that is efficient, performant, testable, scalable, secure, and of the highest quality.
Responsibilities include accurate planning and estimation efforts, gathering requirements, and organizing/presenting developed features for clients.
The engineer will execute complex activities within current methodology and quality standards, showcasing success across diverse engagements.
Promoting client success by collaborating with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points and iterate on solutions is essential.
The role involves engaging in agile software development practices, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and team retrospectives.
Participation in the Engineering Practice community is expected, including mentoring others and supporting the growth of technical capabilities.
The engineer will independently drive project delivery within defined architecture, demonstrating autonomy and accountability from conceptualization to deployment.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Java and key Java-based frameworks such as Spring, Springboot, Hibernate, and Apache.
Proficiency in RESTful web services and a deep understanding of SQL and relational databases, with PostgreSQL preferred or alternatively MySQL.
Experience in generating specs/APIs (OAS, Swagger) and working with AWS Cloud and containerized services (AWS EKS).
Knowledge of High Availability architecture (AWS Redis Cluster, Kinesis Data Shards), Redis, KeyCloak, Jenkins, and Postman is required.
Experience in Agile software development methodologies and expertise in Object-Oriented Programming principles.
High-level design proficiency following UML / C4 / ArchiMate and experience in creating well-tested, scalable, and performant enterprise-level systems.
The candidate should have a good understanding of SOLID principles and familiarity with OWASP.
Proficiency in the English language is mandatory.
Additional desired experience includes Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs), architectural and design patterns, unit testing, and working in the Cloud with Docker/Kubernetes.
