Description:

3Pillar is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Java and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to join their Product Development team in Moldova.
The role involves facilitating effective communication with client project stakeholders regarding project status and recommendations.
The engineer will craft client code that is efficient, performant, testable, scalable, secure, and of the highest quality.
Responsibilities include participating in planning and estimation efforts, gathering requirements, and presenting developed features to clients.
The position requires executing complex activities within current methodologies and quality standards, showcasing success across diverse engagements.
The engineer will promote client success by collaborating with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points and iterate on solutions.
Engagement in agile software development practices, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and team retrospectives, is expected.
The role includes mentoring others through Communities of Practice (CoPs) and supporting the growth of technical capabilities.
The engineer will independently drive project delivery within defined architecture, demonstrating autonomy and accountability from conceptualization to deployment.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Java and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is required.
Candidates must have experience with unit testing and agile software development methodologies.
Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming principles, including abstraction and encapsulation, is necessary.
High-level design proficiency following UML, C4, or ArchiMate is required.
Experience in creating and implementing well-tested, scalable, and performant enterprise-level systems is essential.
Candidates should demonstrate practice and initiative in mentoring other engineers and decision-makers.
A good understanding of SOLID principles and familiarity with OWASP is required.
Proficiency in the English language is mandatory.
Additional desired experience includes Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs), architectural and design patterns, working in the cloud, and using containers like Docker/Kubernetes.
