Remote Senior Software Engineer (Javascript + React + Drupal)

Description:

• Acquia is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their remote team in India.
• The role involves working on the Drupal Acceleration Team to enhance Drupal's capabilities for site builders and content creators.
• Responsibilities include advocating for Drupal's needs, contributing code to Drupal core and projects, supporting teammates with code reviews, and collaborating with the engineering team and CTO to deliver value through Drupal.
• The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of JavaScript experience, including React, and 2+ years of experience with a Content Management System like Drupal or Wordpress.
• Proficiency in automated testing, willingness to mentor others, and a commitment to high-quality code and documentation are essential.
• Extra credit for experience with Drupal project issue queues, site building experience, and UI design interest.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, including React.
• 2+ years of experience with a Content Management System like Drupal or Wordpress.
• Proficient in automated testing strategies and methodologies.
• Willingness to review others' work rigorously and have your work reviewed.
