Remote Senior Software Engineer (Jeeves, Inc., Orlando, FL)

Description:

• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• Perform implementation of security and data protection.
• Execute user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
• Incorporate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
• Understand fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Recognize differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimize output accordingly.
• Create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Use strong communication skills to proficiently understand code versioning tools, such as Git.

• Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, or similar role involving front-end software development.
• 3 years of professional experience writing reusable, testable, and efficient code for front-end development using TypeScript, JavaScript, ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and Jest.
• 3 years of professional experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting software for web or server-side applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React.
• 3 years of professional experience writing unit tests for ReactJS applications using Jest.
• 3 years of professional experience with version control tools, specifically Git.
• 3 years of professional experience developing User Interfaces (UI) and customer-facing features.
