We invite a talented and motivated Software Engineer with strong Android development experience to join our team and help create and maintain robust mobile applications that serve the unique needs of the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.
You will use your expertise in Kotlin to deliver seamless, user-friendly, and efficient solutions that improve customer experiences and streamline operations in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
In this role, you will develop and maintain innovative mobile apps, working with cross-functional teams to create seamless mobile experiences that benefit users and drive business growth.
You will build and maintain Android apps using Kotlin to ensure a seamless experience for customers, delivery partners, and staff.
You will collaborate with UI/UX teams to create intuitive, on-brand designs and implement features like online ordering, payments, loyalty programs, and location services.
You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs.
You will optimize app performance, security, and scalability through testing, updates, and bug fixes.
You will update apps based on user feedback, ensuring compatibility with new Android OS versions and devices.
You will integrate analytics tools to track app performance and enhance features accordingly.
You will ensure compliance with privacy regulations regarding the safe handling of user data.

Requirements:

Proven experience in Android app development (native or hybrid) is required.
Proficiency in Kotlin is essential; experience with React Native or Flutter is a plus.
Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and SDKs is necessary.
Knowledge of mobile UI/UX principles and accessibility standards is required.
Familiarity with Git and version control is essential.
Experience with mobile app testing, debugging, and performance optimization is necessary.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team is essential.
Excellent communication skills are required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience) is necessary.
Desirable qualifications include experience developing apps for the QSR or foodservice sectors, experience with mobile app integrations for payments, location tracking, and loyalty programs, Agile development experience, and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
