Description:

The Senior Software Engineer will be an integral part of the engineering teams at EMEA, available to contractors in the Czech Republic and other East European locations.
The role involves improving the DoiT Navigator product and implementing a new offering focused on Kubernetes (K8s).
Responsibilities include implementing features from proposal to maintenance, reviewing code, improving the health of the codebase, and providing feedback during team planning discussions.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of software development experience.
Significant experience with Kubernetes and a deep understanding of its workings is required.
Experience with EKS and/or GKE is highly advantageous.
Applicants should be Full Stack engineers or Frontend/Backend engineers willing to learn Full Stack development.
A solid understanding of programming languages is necessary, ideally with knowledge of the React framework and Go programming language, or a willingness to learn these languages.
Experience developing solutions in the Cloud and/or using Cloud services is advantageous but not mandatory.
Candidates should embrace continuous development and learning, have knowledge of software engineering practices, and demonstrate a passion for creating high-quality applications and solutions.
Experience with Git/GitHub is required.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential.
Candidates should be self-organized, goal-oriented, self-motivated, confident, thorough, and tenacious.
The ability to operate flexibly in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment is necessary.
A great sense of humor and enjoyment of work is preferred.
