Requirements:

• A PhD in database systems or significant experience in database internals and query optimization is required.

• Experience with algorithm development for performance enhancement projects is essential.
• Strong communication skills in a distributed environment and the ability to work in US Eastern or Central European time are required.
• Candidates must demonstrate a strong sense of ownership from requirements gathering to production deployment.
• Familiarity with ETL pipelines, SQL, databases, data warehouses, and big data processing tools is essential.
• Experience with object-oriented programming best practices is required.
• Passion for mentoring engineers in database optimization and rapid delivery is preferred.
