Remote Senior Software Engineer (L3) - Identity Platform

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for building and operating the next generation of enterprise-grade identity services for Twilio's products.
• They will work on a globally distributed IAM platform for authentication and authorization across Twilio and its associated member platforms.
• Responsibilities include building tools and APIs for internal product groups to onboard onto a unified IAM platform, delivering new products and services to enhance safety and reliability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• The role involves writing high-quality code, covering it with various tests, planning and leading team projects, coaching junior engineers, and deploying code to the cloud.
• The Senior Software Engineer will also learn and use technologies like AWS, K8s, CI/CD, Front-end frameworks, and Back-end service building techniques.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in building resilient, high-throughput services and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in asynchronous communications, multi-threading concepts, and technologies like MySQL, Cassandra, Kafka, Redis, and Memcached.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and experience troubleshooting complex production issues.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
