Description:

  • Plentific, a global real-time property solution company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Laravel) to join their remote team.
  • The company focuses on helping landlords, letting agents, and property managers streamline operations, increase revenue, enhance tenant satisfaction, and ensure compliance through their SaaS technology platform.
  • The role involves working on resident-facing systems for clients, developing reusable code modules, integrating products with third-party applications, and collaborating with various teams within the company.
  • The position is remote within the UK, offering flexibility to work from home or the office, with occasional travel to Warrington.
  • Responsibilities include being the main contributor to client integrations, collaborating with stakeholders, conducting feasibility tests of third-party APIs, debugging and fixing bugs, participating in code reviews, and supporting other developers.
  • The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, passionate about writing clean and reusable code, have excellent communication skills, and possess strong PHP, SQL, and Javascript skills.
  • Requirements also include 5+ years of Laravel experience, familiarity with testing frameworks, Git, Vagrant, command line tools, and working experience with macOS and Linux systems.

Requirements:

  • Self-starter who takes responsibility for their work, accepts feedback, and owns the software developed.
  • Passion for writing clean, modular, and performant code.
  • Willingness to learn other systems and frameworks.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Strong PHP, SQL, and Javascript skills.
  • 5+ years of Laravel experience, with at least 2 at a senior level.
  • Experience supporting junior team members is preferred.
  • Proficiency in developing custom packages and testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Git, Vagrant, command line tools, macOS, and Linux systems.
