Description:
The Senior Software Developer Lead position at Experian is a US-remote role reporting to the Software Development Director.
Responsibilities include analyzing, developing, coding, and implementing programs and applications for Big Data Applications in multiple programming languages.
Support applications by understanding system integration, test planning, scripting, and troubleshooting.
Evaluate the health and performance of software applications and databases.
Establish and maintain relationships with departments, customers, and subject matter experts to stay informed of project status, trends, risks, and issues.
Analyze program and application performance using various programming languages, tools, and techniques.
Identify opportunities to enhance implementations for cost and execution efficiencies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
10+ years of experience in a related position.
Proficiency in Scala, Pyspark, and Java coding for REST API and SOAP web services.
Experience with AWS technologies like EMR, EC2, ECS, S3, Airflow, Step Functions, and AWS API Gateway.
Skills in batch application performance tuning using Spark, Hadoop, EMR, Java, and Python.
Familiarity with Linux, including Shell scripting and Python.
Knowledge of DevOps tools like GIT, GitHub, Bit Bucket, GitLab, IntelliJ IDEA, and PyCharm.
Experience in designing applications at scale and creating CI/CD pipelines with tools like Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Artifactory, and AWSCodeCommit Cloudformation.
Experience with graph databases and Identity products.
