Description:
The position is for a Senior Software Engineer, Libraries at Webflow, a leading visual development platform for building websites without code.
The role involves collaborating with designers, PMs, and engineers to build product capabilities for the Libraries team.
Responsibilities include building, documenting, and testing production code impacting all Webflow customers.
The role also involves participating in engineering activities like incident response, code review, and releasing new functionality.
The Senior Software Engineer will tackle complex technical challenges on a collaborative and geographically distributed team.
The position is full-time, permanent, and remote-first in specific locations.
The cash compensation is tailored based on geographic location, job-related experience, qualifications, and skills.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience shipping features and products, focusing on web frameworks and products.
An innate interest in the Web Platform, Design Systems, and building platforms that enable customers is required.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
Proficiency in Node.js, React, TypeScript, framework development, and design systems is necessary.
Experience in data design and modeling, as well as communicating trade-offs throughout a project to meet technical and business requirements, is essential.
Comfortable working in an agile, safe-to-fail environment is a requirement.
