Description:

  • The position is for a Senior Software Engineer, Libraries at Webflow, a leading visual development platform for building websites without code.
  • The role involves collaborating with designers, PMs, and engineers to build product capabilities for the Libraries team.
  • Responsibilities include building, documenting, and testing production code impacting all Webflow customers.
  • The role also involves participating in engineering activities like incident response, code review, and releasing new functionality.
  • The Senior Software Engineer will tackle complex technical challenges on a collaborative and geographically distributed team.
  • The position is full-time, permanent, and remote-first in specific locations.
  • The cash compensation is tailored based on geographic location, job-related experience, qualifications, and skills.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have 5+ years of experience shipping features and products, focusing on web frameworks and products.
  • An innate interest in the Web Platform, Design Systems, and building platforms that enable customers is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
  • Proficiency in Node.js, React, TypeScript, framework development, and design systems is necessary.
  • Experience in data design and modeling, as well as communicating trade-offs throughout a project to meet technical and business requirements, is essential.
  • Comfortable working in an agile, safe-to-fail environment is a requirement.
