The market data team is responsible for improving the overall architecture connected to data products such as stocks, options, crypto, and foreign exchange markets.
The role involves overseeing the public API structure and documentation on both streaming and historical endpoints.
Responsibilities include designing highly scalable systems, implementing backend services, maintaining software quality, participating in code reviews, and troubleshooting incidents.
The position requires a deep understanding of POSIX-like operating systems, modern infrastructure, and orchestration practices.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience working on systems at scale.
Experience with compiled imperative languages such as Go, C, C++, or Rust is required, with a preference for Go.
SQL or relational database skills are necessary.
Familiarity with TCP/IP and UDP networking is essential.
Proficiency with Linux/BSD and shell scripting is required.
A proven track record of architecting and leading medium-scale projects involving multiple teams is necessary.
Experience with Kubernetes or other workload orchestration systems is required.
Candidates should have experience with major cloud platforms, primarily GCP.
A passion for financial markets is essential.
