Description:

  • Braze is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the Messaging Components team responsible for building, maintaining, and evolving Canvas, their flagship product.
  • The role involves supporting message sending for clients globally, managing billions of asynchronous jobs, tens of billions of queries on MongoDB and Redis, and infrastructure across multiple cloud providers.
  • As a key engineering contributor, you will work on critical components of Braze's high-scale infrastructure, tackling significant engineering challenges in a collaborative team environment.
  • Responsibilities include taking projects from concept to production, optimizing for massive scale, and evolving essential systems.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of full-stack development experience and be a technical leader capable of driving architectural decisions.
  • Strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms is required.
  • Candidates should be self-starters with excellent communication and organizational skills, with prior experience working in a team environment.
  • Bonus qualifications include professional experience in building software at scale, proficiency in Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript, Java, MongoDB, microservice architecture, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with agile processes and a passion for user experience are also desired.
