Description:
Braze is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the Messaging Components team responsible for building, maintaining, and evolving Canvas, their flagship product.
The role involves supporting message sending for clients globally, managing billions of asynchronous jobs, tens of billions of queries on MongoDB and Redis, and infrastructure across multiple cloud providers.
As a key engineering contributor, you will work on critical components of Braze's high-scale infrastructure, tackling significant engineering challenges in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities include taking projects from concept to production, optimizing for massive scale, and evolving essential systems.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of full-stack development experience and be a technical leader capable of driving architectural decisions.
Strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms is required.
Candidates should be self-starters with excellent communication and organizational skills, with prior experience working in a team environment.
Bonus qualifications include professional experience in building software at scale, proficiency in Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript, Java, MongoDB, microservice architecture, and distributed systems.
Experience with agile processes and a passion for user experience are also desired.
