Remote Senior Software Engineer, ML Infrastructure

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining ML infrastructure, including sensor data ETL pipelines, continuous training pipelines, annotation platform, etc.
• They will work on developing MLOps systems for managing the lifecycle of ML cloud training and inference pipelines.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to design metrics for mining sensor data and implement algorithms like collaborative filtering and active learning.
• Work on making sensor data widely discoverable and accessible for Robotics Engineers.
• Utilize technologies such as Apache Beam (Dataflow), Bazel, BigQuery, MongoDB, GCS, Kubernetes, and Airflow for platform development.

Requirements:

• BS or MS in computer science with a focus on data engineering and large-scale ML systems.
• 3+ years of industry experience in building and improving large-volume ML training and validation pipelines.
• Experience with building native cloud applications and large-scale data processing pipelines.
• Proficiency in at least one of C++, Python, or Go.
• Hands-on experience in Computer Vision and Deep Learning.
• Strong automation skills for workflows.
