Description:
Talkiatry is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Mobile) to join their remote team.
The role involves leading feature and story development for the mobile app while adhering to established design patterns and best practices.
The engineer will help build a reliable, observable, and maintainable codebase, including test coverage and monitoring.
Responsibilities include interfacing with critical third-party providers to establish and maintain robust API integrations, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
The engineer will identify and communicate benefits and tradeoffs to engineers of all levels and non-technical stakeholders.
Mentoring teammates to support their learning and growth is a key aspect of the role.
Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, including product, design, clinical, and operations teams, is essential to deliver on clear outcomes.
The engineer will communicate requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences clearly.
Contributions to the backend code to support functionality for mobile and web apps are also expected.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience as a developer.
Familiarity with common frameworks and tooling, including testing frameworks, is required.
Experience with common agile practices such as scrum, Kanban, and CI/CD is necessary.
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience with React Native.
Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Expo is required.
Bonus points for candidates who have developed apps from 0 to 1 and brought them to market in app stores.
Experience integrating video calls on cross-platform apps is also a bonus.
Candidates should demonstrate technical excellence and a commitment to continuous learning.
Strong collaboration skills and a focus on outcomes over outputs are essential.
