Description:
- The company, Wiser Solutions, provides in-store and eCommerce intelligence and execution tools to brands, retailers, and retail channel partners globally.
- The Senior Software Engineer will work on mobile applications and services, focusing on maximizing crowd member productivity, engagement, and reducing acquisition costs.
- Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, communicating effectively in a remote setting, and contributing ideas to enhance the product.
- Technologies used include NodeJS, Java, PHP, React/Redux, AWS, Docker, MySQL, iOS, and Android native apps.
- The role requires being part of an on-call rotation to respond to critical system issues during specific hours and days.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Java/Spring or NodeJS/NestJS microservices.
- Strong coding skills in multiple languages and frontend web or native mobile development.
- Experience with testing practices, system design, and agile team environments.
- Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies and collaborate effectively with other software engineers.
Benefits:
- Competitive base annual pay estimated to be CAD$120,000 to $130,000.
