Description:
- The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and owning the Mobile Apps at Snap! Mobile, Inc.
- The role involves building new UI features, supporting existing ones, and creating A/B experiments.
- Responsibilities include building IOS and Android applications, integrating with API services, and contributing to roadmap planning discussions.
- The position requires 60% of time dedicated to improving customer interactions, 10% to testing and reviewing mobile application builds, 20% to planning and documentation, and 10% to team support.
- The primary tech stack includes Swift/Java/React Native, NodeJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React/Vue/Svelte frontends, and AWS Cloud Services.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience building applications in newer technology stacks or iOS and Android experience, React Native experience is a plus.
- 3+ years of professional experience working in a team environment to achieve goals.
- 2+ years of professional experience using Jira to document and break down development work is preferred.
- Knowledge of Serverless Framework, experience with various AWS services, and an understanding of event-driven systems.
- Associate Degree in Computer Science or similar field OR graduation certificate from a coding Bootcamp OR self-taught.
- Strong communication and writing skills are required.
