The company is looking for a Mobile React Native Engineering Lead to build a new mobile app from scratch.
As the first mobile engineer, you will define and build the future of Matcha on mobile, working closely with product, design, and engineering leadership.
Key responsibilities include leading the development of the React Native mobile app for iOS and Android, designing app architecture, collaborating with teams, owning the mobile user experience, maintaining code quality, and defining long-term technical direction for mobile.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in mobile development, with deep expertise in React Native and mobile application architecture.
A proven track record of owning and delivering complex mobile projects, ideally products launched from scratch, is required.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React Native CLI & Expo, and native modules (Objective-C, Swift, Java, Kotlin) is necessary.
Experience integrating mobile apps with REST and GraphQL APIs is essential.
Familiarity with state management libraries like Zustand, MobX, Redux, or Recoil is required.
A deep understanding of mobile performance optimization, profiling, and debugging tools is necessary.
Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines and app distribution through the App Store and Google Play is required.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote, async-friendly environment are essential.
Candidates must be comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced, product-led environment.
A passion for DeFi, open finance, and building tools that empower users is required.

The base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $230,000, plus equity, ZRX tokens, and benefits, with individual pay determined by skills, experience, location, and preferences.
