Remote Senior Software Engineer (Mobile/Frontend)

Description:

• We are seeking a Mobile Application Subject Matter Expert with a strong affinity for frontend development to lead our mobile app efforts on the Time and Mobile Domain team.
• In this role, you will work closely with the team lead to accelerate our mobile application, drive innovation, and collaborate with our PM to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• This position is ideal for a self-motivated, dependable programmer who excels at solving complex problems and thrives in both collaborative and independent environments.
• You will demonstrate and maintain competency in key areas of our technical stack, including .NET, Vuejs, EF, AWS, CI/CD, and GHA.
• You will design and implement scalable, high-quality mobile software solutions that are maintainable and extensible.
• You should be knowledgeable in software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
• Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills are essential, as well as the ability to identify locations for performance optimization using tooling.
• You will provide constructive feedback in code reviews to ensure adherence to our standards.
• Understanding and educating others on how our build pipeline works, including deployments, environment differences, unit tests, integration tests, and UI tests, is required.
• As the Mobile Application Subject Matter Expert, you will take ownership of our mobile application, drive innovation, and ensure its success.
• You will collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences and exhibit strong communication and soft skills.

• Assisting in creating technical stories when necessary and the ability to learn new concepts and systems quickly are also part of your responsibilities.

Requirements:

• You must have 8+ years of professional software web development experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required.
• You should have 3+ years of experience with event-driven microservices architecture.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) is necessary.
• You need 5+ years of experience and expert CSS skills, with Tailwind knowledge being ideal.
• Front-end framework experience is required, ideally with Vue 3, but React, Angular 8+, or Svelte are also acceptable.
• Proven expertise in developing mobile applications, driving innovation, and ensuring their overall success is essential.
• Experience with designing and developing responsive layouts and interfaces is necessary.
• Intermediate C#/.NET knowledge and experience in creating RESTful APIs are required.
• You should have Entity Framework and SCSS experience.
• A demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality user solutions is essential.
• You must excel in both team-based and independent work settings, fostering a culture of innovation and success.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively are required.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are necessary.
• Consistent, reliable high-speed internet access and a dedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions are required.
• Nice to have: Ionic Vue Framework 5+ experience, previous hybrid or native mobile app development, understanding of the OAUTH2 flow, Capacitor experience, and Figma knowledge.
