Description:
Change.org is seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to enhance product features and user experience.
The role involves developing robust and scalable payment infrastructure and integrating new payment methods and gateways.
The engineer will provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, fostering professional growth and development.
Key responsibilities include taking ownership of monetization-related projects, providing technical influence to junior team members, participating in technical planning, and identifying optimization opportunities.
The engineer will also be expected to participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 4β6 years of experience in full-stack web service development and building reliable systems in production environments.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in at least one language used at Change.org, such as Node.js, Rails, or Elixir, is required.
Experience with frontend technologies like React, JavaScript, and TypeScript for at least 3 years is necessary.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code technologies, including Terraform, Kubernetes, and AWS, is essential.
Proven experience in designing and implementing payment infrastructure, including integrating payment gateways and ensuring compliance with financial standards, is required.
Strong coding skills in full-stack development and proficiency in multiple technologies, languages, and frameworks across the web stack are necessary.
