As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in motion planning, you will collaborate with engineers, leaders, and users to enhance robotic arm control systems.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing efficient motion planning algorithms, driving high-impact technical projects, advising leadership on technical strategies, and mentoring other engineers.
Requirements:
Extensive experience with motion planning, particularly in developing and implementing solutions for robotic arms is required.
ROS experience is strongly preferred to facilitate the integration of motion planning algorithms.
A strong technical background with at least 3 years of experience working with robotic systems and complex software environments is necessary.
Candidates should demonstrate excitement for challenging robotics problems and a desire to make motion planning accessible to non-experts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for explaining complex robotics concepts to diverse audiences.
A focus on user impact and practical solutions over technical idealism is expected.

Benefits:
The salary range for this role is between $170,000 and $210,000, with compensation packages tailored to seniority and skill level.
