Remote Senior Software Engineer, Multi-Cloud (Brazil)

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer position is focused on building a new multi-tenant offering in Azure for dbt Labs.
• You will be part of a collaborative team creating a reliable and performant infrastructure platform.
• Responsibilities include building a highly reliable and performant application infrastructure on Azure, leveraging technologies like Golang, Python, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.
• You will drive scaling and automation initiatives across the cloud platform, ensuring quality and developer productivity.
• Collaboration with teams in Engineering, Product, and Design is essential to deliver new offerings and features.
• The role directly impacts dbt Lab’s mission by expanding the organizations served and reaching data practitioners.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with production experience supporting SaaS applications on Azure.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (computer science, computer engineering, etc.) OR completed enrollment in an engineering-related bootcamp.
• Experience in designing, deploying, and supporting infrastructure for distributed cloud applications, including containerized workloads on Azure.
• Strong empathy for developer experience, collaboration skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Systematic problem-solving approach, strong communication skills, and a sense of ownership and drive.
