3Pillar Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in .NET (C#) to join their Product Development team in Costa Rica.
The position is full-time and remote, focusing on leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enable data-driven decision-making.
The role involves facilitating effective communication with client project stakeholders regarding project status and recommendations.
Responsibilities include crafting high-quality client code that is efficient, performant, testable, scalable, and secure.
The engineer will actively participate in planning and estimation efforts, gather requirements, and present developed features to clients.
The position requires executing complex activities within current methodologies and quality standards, promoting client success through collaboration with engineers, designers, and managers.
The engineer will engage in agile software development practices, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and team retrospectives.
Mentoring others through Communities of Practice (CoPs) and supporting the growth of technical capabilities is also a key responsibility.
The role demands independent project delivery within defined architecture, demonstrating autonomy and accountability from conceptualization to deployment.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of professional experience in software development.
Strong organizational, logical thinking, problem-solving, and task completion skills are required.
Expertise in the C#/.NET tech stack and experience in building and maintaining distributed systems is essential.
A proven ability to incrementally improve codebases with precision and care is necessary.
Proficiency in C#, WPF, WebApi, Microsoft SQL Server, Entity Framework, .NET 8 or 9, and GitHub is required.
Experience in Agile software development methodologies is a must.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and experience in creating well-tested, scalable, and performant enterprise-level systems.
Mentoring experience and a good understanding of SOLID principles and Clean Code are required.
Familiarity with OWASP and proficiency in the English language are necessary.
Additional desired experience includes full stack application development, modern software engineering principles, willingness to learn new languages and tools, and leadership qualities.
