Description:

As a Senior Software Backend Engineer in the lending division called Nivoda Capital, you will be part of the FinTech Engineering Team.
Your role will involve building a world-class Credit decision-making platform aimed at enhancing customer cash flow and moderating credit risk.
You will design and develop Nivoda Credit Risk and Transaction Monitoring Platforms in collaboration with Engineering Leaders and motivated teams.
You will lead technical decisions and projects within the Capital Risk Team, shaping and owning Nivoda Capital Tech solutions.
Collaboration with product managers, architects, and stakeholders will be essential to define backend technical requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
You will ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines throughout the development lifecycle.
Debugging and resolving complex technical issues will be part of your responsibilities, providing timely support to internal teams and external customers.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize customer requirements and feedback.
Mentoring junior developers and improving the quality of engineering work in the broader team will also be expected.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in backend development with NodeJS and any RDBMS language like Postgres, along with knowledge in NoSQL Datastores.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript-based backend platforms and libraries, including Vanilla JavaScript, Node.js, and Postgres databases.
A solid understanding of system design and architectural patterns is required.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
A willingness to learn and adapt to multiple tools and technologies is necessary.
A solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) is expected.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
A B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering is mandatory.
Prior experience in building Underwriting/Risk or Credit decision platforms would be a bonus.
