The role involves modernizing the PHP-based web stack and maintaining their innovative home care SaaS.
Responsibilities include collaborating with product leaders to define new features, mentoring junior and mid-level engineers, coding backend business logic, developing APIs, building frontend UI, and improving system performance.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as a professional software engineer, specifically with the full PHP web stack, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience in building React-based applications using TypeScript is required.
Applicants should have a background in creating well-structured, maintainable software that balances practicality and elegance.
Proficiency in MySQL, both with PHP-based ORMs and raw SQL, is necessary.
Experience in designing and building RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party APIs is essential.
Candidates must be fluent in using a distributed version control system like Git for team collaboration.
Strong writing skills are important due to the asynchronous and technical nature of the work.
The candidate should have experience leading a small team of 1-2 engineers and be capable of independently developing substantial features.
