Description:

  • Braze is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Partnerships team, focusing on integrating the platform with strategic partners like Shopify and enhancing systems for partner onboarding, integration, and metric collection.
  • The role involves collaborating with designers and product managers to identify and solve critical problems hindering the expansion of the supported partner base.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of full-stack development experience, be a technical leader, possess a strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms, and excel in communication and organization within a team environment.
  • Bonus qualifications include experience in building software at scale, proficiency in technologies like Ruby, Ruby on Rails, React, Go, SQL, NoSQL databases, microservice architecture, distributed systems, API design, and agile processes, as well as a passion for customer experience and familiarity with E-commerce platforms like Shopify.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of full-stack development experience
  • Experienced technical leader
  • Strong understanding of design, data structures, and algorithms
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Bonus: Professional experience with technologies like Ruby, Ruby on Rails, React, Go, SQL, NoSQL databases, microservice architecture, distributed systems, API design/monitoring/best practices, agile processes, passion for customer experience, and experience with E-commerce platforms like Shopify
