Remote Senior Software Engineer - Pay Team

• Cut+Dry is a fast-growing FoodTech startup that is revolutionizing the $300B US food supply industry by connecting foodservice distributors, their customers, and suppliers on a single platform.
• The company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work with payment systems to facilitate payments between restaurant operators and food distributors.
• The role involves developing high-quality code, writing technical user stories, resolving defects, and managing technical debt.
• Responsibilities include developing unit tests, practicing DevOps methods, monitoring software performance, participating in code reviews, and evaluating emerging technologies.
• The position is 100% remote in North America and is a full-time role.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 4-5 years of relevant developer experience is mandatory.
• At least 3 years of experience in developing high-performance and highly scalable applications in an agile environment is required.
• Preferred experience includes exposure to payment systems such as ACH API and payment gateways.
• Extensive hands-on experience in modern programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, PHP, React, Python, GraphQL, and MySQL is necessary.
• A strong understanding of agile development techniques like Scrum, Lean, XP, and Kanban is essential.
• Experience building and deploying applications on a cloud platform such as AWS is required.
• Fluency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, configuration, containerization, and infrastructure as code, is necessary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
