Remote Senior Software Engineer, Payments

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer at Juniper Square will collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to design and implement SWIFT network integration for a treasury cash management system.
• They will contribute to large, complex projects within the Product Team, provide technical reviews, and translate project requirements into technical specifications.
• Responsibilities include defining and expanding data models, implementing business logic, developing GraphQL API endpoints, working on frontend frameworks, writing tests, and performing code reviews.
• The role involves transitioning from a monolith into Service Oriented Architecture, providing technical support for stakeholder groups, and participating in monitoring and addressing production issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is required.
• 5+ years of experience with modern web application frameworks like React, NestJs, FastAPI, & Federated GQL.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture and SWIFT payments is preferred.
• Proficiency in Python/Typescript, Kubernetes, server-side MVC frameworks, SQL database schema design, and Linux clusters.
• Must be flexible and adaptable to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience with payment and accounting concepts is a plus.
