The company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the Payments and Trust areas.
The Payments team is responsible for building Lime's Payments platform, improving transaction costs, authorization rates, and local payment integrations across more than 20 countries.
The Trust team is developing a real-time risk engine to identify platform abuse while maintaining community trust.
Responsibilities include collaborating with various leaders to solve complex payment and fraud problems, developing robust engineering platforms, building machine learning systems for payment optimization, and analyzing data for decision-making.
The role also involves shaping the engineering culture and mentoring other engineers.
Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience with a proven track record of building impactful products or systems is required.
Candidates should possess an owner's mindset with strong execution skills and a passion for applying engineering and machine learning to solve complex business problems.
Technical proficiency to understand and contribute to project design and implementation is essential.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills are necessary for managing competing priorities.
Strong analytical skills to extract critical information from transaction data and user patterns are required.
Preferred experience includes domain expertise in payments, anti-abuse, or fraud detection, and experience in collaborating with leads from various departments to craft roadmaps.
