Lime is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the Payments and Trust areas of the company.
The Payments team focuses on building Lime's Payments platform, reducing transaction costs, improving authorization rates, and expanding local payment integrations.
The Trust team is developing a real-time risk engine that uses heuristic rules and machine learning to evaluate transactions and maintain consumer trust.
Responsibilities include collaborating with leaders across the company, developing engineering platforms, building machine learning systems, analyzing data for decision-making, shaping engineering culture, and coaching other engineers.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of professional software development experience with a proven track record of building impactful products or systems.
An owner's mindset with strong execution skills and a passion for applying engineering, machine learning, and statistical skills to solve complex business problems is required.
Technical proficiency to understand and contribute to the design and implementation of projects is necessary.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills are essential for managing competing priorities.
Strong analytical skills to extract critical information from transaction data and user patterns are required.
Domain expertise in payments, anti-abuse, or fraud detection is preferred.
Experience in collaborating with leads from engineering, product, operations, and compliance to craft roadmaps and measures of success is preferred.
