Remote Senior Software Engineer (PHP)

Description:

• Work as a Senior PHP Engineer in an Agile development team to enhance features for over 5 million active users.
• Collaborate with product owners and designers to deliver outstanding features on time.
• Advocate for non-functional requirements like scalability and fault tolerance.
• Develop, test, and maintain solutions within the team's domain.
• Create and update internal technical documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and community-driven decision-making.
• Coach and mentor mid-level engineers.
• Ensure compliance with processes and maintain coding and design guidelines.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in developing web applications in PHP.
• Knowledge of web infrastructure, HTTP, and REST.
• Familiarity with OOP best practices, SOLID, and Clean Code principles.
• Experience with design patterns in PHP and ensuring security against XSS and SQL Injection.
• Basic understanding of Docker, web security, and written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to balance costs and benefits effectively and prevent technical debt.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to transfer knowledge effectively.
