Description:

The Adaptavist Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to enhance the platform supporting ScriptRunner Cloud products.
This role involves delivering changes through continuous integration and deployment while solving complex problems to meet customer requirements.
Key responsibilities include investigating and solving complex problems, researching solutions within Atlassian’s Connect and Forge platform, designing scalable systems, building and testing serverless applications, migrating high-traffic systems, monitoring and debugging services, and evaluating systems for operational reliability.
The position is fully remote within the UK and offers a flexible working environment.

Requirements:

Candidates must have proven experience building and operating systems at scale using AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, and SNS.
Expertise in high-availability, fault-tolerant, scalable distributed systems is essential.
Fluency in Java and Spring Boot is required.
Strong organisational, prioritisation, and communication skills are necessary.
Desirable skills include experience with CI/CD processes, understanding of serverless and micro-services-oriented architecture with REST APIs, innovative thinking, and a track record of supporting colleagues.
