The DSP Backend Engineering team designs and develops new features for Basis, processing over 350 billion events daily using AI and machine learning.
The Senior Software Engineer will build products that serve customers and support backend changes for growth.
Responsibilities include writing code, improving the real-time bidding (RTB) platform, designing sustainable software, proposing platform improvements, architecting scalable solutions, identifying performance bottlenecks, collaborating with team members, and resolving production issues.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of software development experience.
Excellent knowledge of Java and object-oriented design patterns is required.
Experience with horizontally scalable systems and both relational and NoSQL databases is necessary.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is expected.
Candidates should have experience with all phases of the software development life cycle.
Comfort in collaborating within an agile team environment is essential.
A passion for high-quality software design and best practices is required.

The salary range for this position is $118,000 - $185,000, determined by role, level, and location.
The total compensation package may include commission or bonus, company equity, and competitive benefits.
