Description:
- Beam Benefits is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on building user-centric projects in an agile setting.
- The role involves working on various product aspects, utilizing a diverse range of technologies, and consistently delivering code.
- Senior developers are expected to mentor team members, contribute to product processes, and propose architectural solutions for tech stack enhancement.
- Responsibilities also include evaluating platform performance, implementing best practices, and owning parts of the agile processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
- Must have 5+ years of experience with React, React Testing Library, NextJS, and TypeScript.
- 2-3 years of experience in building scalable Ruby on Rails applications is necessary.
- Proficiency in managing Ci/CD Pipelines (e.g., Buildkite, CircleCi, Jenkins) is essential.
- Expertise in developing secure, tested REST API's and relational DB schema design is required.
- Strong understanding of CS fundamentals like data structures and design patterns is a must.
Benefits:
- The salary range for this position is $115,200 - $184,200 per year, with actual pay determined by internal equity, budget, and candidate's qualifications.
